2/2/21 - Parent Meeting dates and times:
1/25/21 - The Spring nomination window for AIG testing is now open! Students who may be tested include 4th and 5th grade students new to Wake County schools, 5th grade AIG students identified in only 1 subject, and 5th grade students not previously identified based on scores. If you would like your child to be evaluated for AIG, please let your child's teacher know or e-mail me at [email protected] by February 1st.
9/27/20 - 3rd Grade Parents: At this time, CogAt and Iowa testing has been postponed until 2nd semester. As details for screening students for AIG services are released, I will share them with you.

10/3/19 - Parent Meetings - All meetings will be held in my classroom (room 2311):
4th/5th Grade Parent Meeting - for parents of AIG students and parents of AIG nominated students (please choose 1 to attend)
Wake County requires all 3rd grade students to take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). The CogAT will be given on November 4th, 5th, and 6th. Testing will begin at 8:45 A.M. and will last about an hour each day of testing.
4/23/19 - Single Subject Acceleration - The nomination window for SSA is April 23 - May 6. You can find additional information about SSA under the SSA tab.
12/4/18 - The 3rd Grade parent meetings have been scheduled. Please attend one of the following to learn about the Explorers program:
*Thursday, December 6th at 5:30 in room 2311
*Wednesday, December 12th at 3:30 in room 2311 (a Spanish interpreter will be present)

- Thursday, February 4th at 5:30 P.M. - 3rd Grade Explorers parent meeting
